Does a VPN fix Level 2?

How Two-Level Trust works

Level 1 math: +15 when we see a public exit IP (expected; not a fail). +70 if a public WebRTC IP differs from that HTTPS exit (bypass). +40 if the WebRTC probe cannot run. Same public IP on WebRTC and HTTPS = +0 extra. Fail at 40; hard-fail at 70. A typical clean session is 15, not 0.
Level 2 math: (unchecked checklist items ÷ 5) × 100. Fail at 40 (two or more gaps). Self-report only — we do not log into your accounts.
Level 1 — Network: what sites infer from IP, timezone, language, WebRTC. Fix with VPN / dedicated IP / router VPN when this layer fails.
Level 2 — Identity: whether logins survive a bad network day. Fix with password managers, authenticator/passkeys, and session review — not with a VPN alone.
